Join us for a deep dive into the realities of migration across West Africa and the urgent gaps in protection faced by children and young people on the move. With over 60% of the region’s population under 24, youth and caregivers are at the heart of these journeys, often travelling without support, exposed to serious risks, and navigating limited options for safety and livelihoods.

This session will explore key findings on mobility, work, and vulnerability along major migration routes, and discuss how responses can better address the needs of young migrants and families.
