Improving knowledge on drivers & conditions of mixed migration journeys – UK FCDO

The project “Improving knowledge & filling information gaps on drivers & conditions of mixed migration journeys” is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) covering 2025 – 2026. It allows MMC to collect data and analyse:

• Smuggling trends and dynamics in Europe and North Africa,
• The impact of the Sudan conflict on mobility patterns in the region,
• Mixed migration trends and dynamics in Yemen,
• Mixed migration trends and dynamics in the Western Balkans,
• Return trends and dynamics in Syria,
• The profiles and aspirations of people on the move towards the UK
