During the briefing, the International Organization for Migration, the Mixed Migration Centre and the UNHCR, will launch a report entitled, “On this journey, nobody cares if you live or die”. The joint report will outline the risks faced by refugees and migrants along the Central Mediterranean route and is based on the findings gathered from over 31,000 interviews with refugees and migrants. The discussion on the route-based approach will also be supported by the findings of a UNHCR report entitled, “Mapping of protection services along mixed movement routes“.
