UNHCR-MPIE Expert Roundtable to discuss the Future of European Asylum Policy, with a particular focus on Enhancing Protection through Comprehensive Responses to Mixed and Onward Movement. The meeting is informed by ongoing research and policy dialogues under the Migration Policy Institute and Robert Bosch Stiftung Beyond Territorial Asylum initiative.
This roundtable is intended to elicit expert views on European policy responses to mixed and onward movements and inform UNHCR responses to government policy and proposals in this area. The meeting will also lay the groundwork for additional conversations in the coming months to further refine policy positions and action, including by UNHCR and other partners.
