President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf opened the High-level Panel on International Migration in Africa in Monrovia. The High Level Panel, established by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) seeks to make recommendations to build and sustain political consensus on implementing the international migration development agenda. The panel will hold consultations at the national, regional and global levels, and will report to the African Union Heads of State Summit in July 2018.
