Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
On 22 February 2023, MMC Eastern and Southern Africa | Egypt & Yemen attended and presented at a Climate Mobility conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, organized and facilitated by the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS), Forum for Social Studies (FSS) and the University of Ghana. Jim van Moorsel, Research Specialist at MMC ESA, presented findings from 4Mi data collection in Djibouti and Somalia on Ethiopians impacted by the drought, as well as on MMC’s engagement with the Khartoum Process in light of a mapping study on climate mobility initiatives in the region published last year.
